the weather in Cartagena is very sunny and windy because I recommend different tips for your trip in this city:

-you should take some insect repellent

-don’t forget a bathing suit, a towel.

-you should take hat and sunscreen all day.

-you shouldn’t pack winter clothes.

-you need to have warm clothes.

-you can pack many shorts, sandals, skins.

-you need sunglasses.

-the most important in different trips, you have to carry a lot of money, don’t forget to take camera, cleaning implements, comfortable clothes, a map and a brochure with information about the city.

CARTAGENA CITY IN COLOMBIA

It’s a beautiful city, it’s located under to barranquilla and near to valledupar, cartagena is exactly located  in the department to Bolivar.

Cartagena has much kind of food, great places, variety in sports, different restaurant and shopping center, further it has a lot of hotels with different prices.

The weather in Cartagena is very hot, sometimes the days are sunny and windy, hardly ever the weather is cloudy or rainy.

I was visiting Cartagena one year ago, I was in Cartagena for two weeks and I was happy because I love swimming in the beach.

PLACES TO VISIT

-OLD BOOTS:

  those are in honor of all the poet from    Cartagena, those are an artistic symbol.

-SAN FELIPE CASTLE:

In this castle was living all the wars historical of Cartagena, it has old architecture, it has around a big wall and many tunnels.

You can go to this: first, in the center to Cartagena you take a taxi to AV. PEDRO DE EREDIA, then you are located of north to south and you go straight ahead for one blocks, you’re going to see the street #30, then turn right four blogs and you ‘re going to see the castle, this’s near to PIE DEL CERRO.

-THE OLD CHURCH:

This name is SAN PEDRO CLAVER, it has many statues and this’s more important for SAN PEDRO, he was to defending of slave’s rights.

To you visit this, it’s placed on the PLAZA DE SAN PEDRO between the church and the modern art museum in the AV, Pedro de Eredia.

-THE UGULT:

It was an old and historical prision, but it’s many premises, there you should buy handicrafts. it’s located near to Cartagena Plaza Hotel in the AV. Pedro Eredia you go straight ahead for three blocks, you’re going to see the street 32, you arrive to it.

-PEGASOS QUAY:

You can see different ships, it has the most important ship, THE CANDIO, this’s travel around the word, it doesn’t have trip with other people only your marine.

The quay is located in front os street 24 and near to convenion center, If your’re in fron to convenion center, you go straighy ahead for four blocks and you turn  left, you’re going to see the quay.

-ARSENAL STREER:

It has only and different boutiques, you buy many gift, clothes, food and  a lot of things.

It’s located near to ARMERIA HOTEL SPA, If you´re in PEGASOS QUAY (street 24) and you want see this street, you turn right one block, then you go straight ahead four five blocks and you’re going to see the ARSENAL.

You should visit many places in Cartagena or near here, for example: ROSARIO ISLAND, GOLD MUSEUM, SAN MARTIN AQUARIUM and ETC.

Cartagena is a great tourist city in Colombia.
